My name is Dr. Robin Pearson. I am one of a team of counselors at the Elementary School of Singapore American School. My interests include Chinese language, photography and gardening.
I was born in England, grew up in Auckland, New Zealand and finally settled in Adelaide, South Australia with my family when I was 18. I relocated to Singapore in 2000 and have lived in China and Japan.

This is my eighteenth year at Singapore American School. Until 2010, I coordinated and taught in the Elementary Chinese language program. I then worked in the technology department for two years before finally becoming a counselor at the elementary school.
I have studied at various universities throughout Australia, completing my Masters of Counseling from Monash University in 2009. My undergraduate degree is from The University of Adelaide and my teaching degree from The University of Queensland. I also hold a Masters of Education from Deakin University specialising in teaching ELL (English Language Learners) and World Languages.
This year, I completed my Doctorate of Education with the University of Southern California.
